1. Who we are
This site is operated by Sports Active Fashion Entertainment (S.A.F.E.) on behalf of World of Wellness — NYFW, THE WOW SHOWS ("we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through wownyfw.com and how we use it.
2. Information we collect
- Contact and application data — name, email address, company, area of interest and any message you submit through our designer application or sponsorship inquiry forms.
- Model casting data — name, contact details, city and country, social handles, agency, age, measurements, physical attributes, experience and any lookbook or portfolio files you upload.
- Technical data — a one-way hashed form of your IP address used solely for spam prevention and rate limiting, plus basic device and browser information generated by our hosting provider.
3. How we use your information
- To review and respond to applications, casting submissions and inquiries.
- To send transactional email — confirmations, casting decisions and follow-ups.
- To produce our events, including scheduling fittings, call times and access.
- To protect the site against spam, abuse and fraudulent submissions.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your submission data for third-party advertising.
4. Uploaded files
Lookbooks and portfolios uploaded through the model casting form are stored in a private storage bucket. They are not publicly accessible. Our casting team views them through short-lived, expiring links.
5. Service providers
We share data only with vendors that help us operate the site and our events: hosting and database infrastructure, and our transactional email provider. These providers process data on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
6. Retention
Applications, sponsorship inquiries and casting submissions are retained while they remain relevant to current and upcoming editions, and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email info@wownyfw.com. We respond within 30 days.
8. Children
Our forms are not intended for anyone under 16. Model applicants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian submit on their behalf and provide written consent before participating in any activation.
9. Cookies
We use only the cookies and local storage strictly necessary to run the site and, for administrators, to keep an authenticated session. We do not set third-party advertising cookies.
